Martial Arts

Mondays and Wednesdays - 5:30 - 8:30pm
Run by the Kiaido Ryu Martial Arts Dojo, Remuera.

Yoga

School term Thursdays 9:15 - 11am
With instructor Lynn Oram.
$10 a session; bring your own mat.

Weight Watchers

In the Lounge at the following times:
Monday 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Monday 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Friday 9 - 11am

Mainly Music

Wednesdays 9:30 -10:30am
A weekly music and movement group for pre-schoolers which includes half an hour of music and movement, and then half an hour of morning tea and play.
The charge is $3 per family.
We currently have a waiting list; please ring the office on 520 2574 to be added to it.

Helen O'Grady Drama Academy

School term Tuesdays 4:30 - 7:30pm

M & Ms (Marys and Marthas)

  Second Monday of the month at 7:30pm
in the Gathering Area (Church Foyer)
A social group for women of all ages who seek to follow the Lord. There is a wide range of activities: games, films, classes etc.

The Later Years at St Aidan's

St Aidan's celebrates the truthand joy of our community being 100 years old. In age we find experience and opportunity. We recognise and value the vital role of older people
in our community.

WHAT WE OFFER...

We know that alongside intergenerational events, it is important to offer events aimed at people of similar ages.


For older people, St Aidan's is home to:

In the Church Hall every Sunday evening:

EXERCISE

Tai Chi for over 65 s

Mondays and Wednesdays
11am - 12:15pm
Run by the Shaolin Kempo and Tai Chi School for the ACC.
Tai Chi is a graceful and calming exercise which is excellent for balance and fall prevention.

Fitness League

Tuesdays 10 - 11am
Fridays 10 - 11am
Rhythmic exercise for all ages including seniors, promoting style and movement.
$5 annual registration,
$7 per session.

FELLOWSHIP

Meetings include worship, fellowship, and a speaker.

Text Box:  Remuera Ladies Probus

Second Thursday of the month at 10am in the Social Lounge
Ladies Probus is a club for retired professional and business women, affiliated with Rotary.
They have a guest speaker, and also offer trips, and walking and other special interest groups.

SENIOR CARE

Senior Care is St Aidan's pastoral care programme for older people in the parish. It provides:
•  visiting
•  home communion
•  social events
•  action on age concerns
