Introduction

A visitor to St Aidan's could describe the God we believe in by observing our worship. Across our different Services we reveal the God we worship. Each person through his or her own ministries reveal the God we believe in and at the same time contribute to the experience of God for others. Our own prayer book, A New Zealand Prayer Book – He Karakia Mihinare o Aotearoa, highlights this in its opening pages. Our worship is only possible through the many who contribute. This booklet aims to assist by listing the different responsibilities of the ministries that contribute to worship in our parish.

7.30am and 9.30am

A reminder that if you are a liturgist, reader or chalice assistant for either morning service please gather in the Vestry at 7.20am or 9.20am respectively for organising and prayers together.

For the 9.30am service, if you are a chalice assistant and have been unable to be there by around 9.20am it is likely that you will be replaced. I note that people are often doing other tasks before the service (i.e. greeting, morning tea set up etc) but if you could just pop in and let us know you are ‘in the house' that would be great!
