AFG – Afternoon Fellowship Group
AFG (previously AAW) meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1:30pm in the church. All visitors/newcomers are welcome!
Aims of the group:
1. To unite in prayer and participate in the mission of the church
2. To promote, safeguard and nurture Christian family life.
ASTA – Advocacy at St Aidan’s
The Writing Group has grown, blossomed, and become ASTA – Advocacy at St Aidan’s, a name which better reflects who we are and what we are doing. Recent projects include lobbying for government funding for the City Mission’s food programme, and protesting to the government of Pakistan about a lack of police action in response to anti-Christian riots. We share resources and learn from each other.
Meeting on the last Friday of the month, 10am to 11:30am, in the Gathering Area. Newcomers welcome. Any questions? Contact Anne P.
Coffee & K’s
Join us for a walk on the fourth Saturday of each month, followed by coffee at a nearby café. Information about our next walk is shared in the newsletter each month. Join us at the starting point at 10am, or at the St Aidan’s car park 9:30am for car-pooling. All abilities are welcome!
Evening Fellowship
Share in fellowship every 3rd Tuesday of the month for a varied programme held in the Gathering Area.
Check out our newsletters for upcoming information.

Ideas, patterns, plans and yarns are exchanged in an atmosphere of fellowship, refreshment and inspiration while warm clothes are knitted for the Anglican Trust for Women and Children, Counties Manukau Community Midwives, The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at National Women’s Hospital, Aged Concern and other charities.
Donations of machine washable wool and small buttons of all colours and weights would be gratefully received.
Small Groups
We have a range of small groups for you to join here at St Aidan’s. Being part of a small group allows people to get to know fellow parishioners and is a way to explore our faith together, with discussion and prayer being at the forefront. We attempt to offer a safe place to share thoughts and experiences as we try to deepen our understanding of God.
Young Adults
We currently have an ongoing home group, held every second Sunday after church. If you would like get involved, check out more here or contact Isobell.
Youth
Come and join us as we have a great time learning about God, playing some exciting games and munching on some tasty treats occasionally.
