Each year, the Auckland City Mission | Te Tāpui A

Each year, the Auckland City Mission | Te Tāpui Atawhai offer the families they have supported through the year extra help with food and gifts over Christmas.

Bring your donations of toys, gifts, and special Christmas food items (as well as the usual food staples and hygiene items) to church over the coming weeks - final drop off by 3pm Tuesday 17th December.

Together we can bless those in our city who need a little extra support this Christmas.

Our young adults saw the Aurora borealis last week

Our young adults saw the Aurora borealis last week when they were in Iona. A beautiful way to end their time there 🌌

They are currently in Rome, nearly at the end of their journey! Thank you to all who have supported them in prayer 🙏

Izzi, Isobell and Nic, along with their @ordinarysaints.ak crew, have now arrived in Glasgow after 36 hours of travel (this pic was taken at the @aucklandairport before their travel started).

Tomorrow they head to Iona to complete their week long course “Pilgrimage of Life” with Alastair McIntosh. We look forward to hearing more about this when they’re back in Aotearoa!

As we celebrate the Season of Creation over the ne

As we celebrate the Season of Creation over the next few weeks, thinking about our planet and all of God's creatures inhabiting it, we would like to remind you of our annual St Francis Day Pet Service coming up at 4pm on Sunday 6th October.

Bring along your pet (if you are able to), or a photo, teddy, or pet toy perhaps, to be blessed, as we celebrate our animal friends and ‘family members’ in the Gathering Area.

Donations of pet food, old towels and sheets for the SPCA would be greatly appreciated. We will be collecting from this Sunday 29th September.
